Our client, a leading logistics and transportation company, is looking for a CDL A Yard Jockey to join their team in Albany, NY. This role is responsible for maneuvering trailers, managing yard flow, and ensuring efficient trailer positioning for loading and unloading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a terminal tractor to move trailers within the yard, coupling and uncoupling as needed.Precisely position trailers at loading docks for loading and unloading.Maintain an organized and efficient yard flow, minimizing congestion.Conduct pre-shift trailer inspections, checking for damage, tire pressure, and safety compliance.Communicate with warehouse personnel, truck drivers, and dispatchers to coordinate movements.Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and yard activities.

Requirements:

Valid CDL A license (Required).Experience with yard tractors and trailers in a logistics or warehouse setting.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate: $26/hrSchedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
