Job Description
The yard laborer is responsible for checking in cars, visually inspecting totaled vehicles sent by insurance companies, and performing an inventory of the vehicle. This includes noting the condition of the vehicle's glass, body panels, and basic interior components. The role also involves attempting to start vehicles, using a battery pack if necessary, and entering information into a handheld device. This position requires working outside in all weather conditions and involves independent work with minimal supervision.

This role offers a casual work environment with jeans and steel-toe footwear allowed. Safety gear and gloves are provided, and additional breaks are given during severe weather. The facility is clean and has an open office space with workstations. You will be part of a small team with only three employees at this location.
Work Environment
This is an outdoor job conducted in the yard, with breaks and lunch taken inside. The regular shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Overtime on Saturdays may be required based on business needs, typically for 4-5 hours. The yard has fences around the site and is located in an industrial park in the Aliquippa area. Employees should wear jeans, steel-toe footwear, and casual attire without large logos or offensive prints. Safety gear and gloves are provided, but all other clothing must be supplied by the employee.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
