Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Operate a front-end loader to move materials safely and efficiently + Maintain stockpiles and load customer trucks with accuracy + Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance + Communicate with dispatch, quality control and plant personnel to ensure high quality is maintained + Operate haul trucks, skidsteer, skytrack ,and other mobile equipment as needed + Perform plant maintenance, plant cleanup and other duties as required + Follow all safety procedures and company policies **What Are We Looking For** + Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment + Strong awareness of safety and environmental standards + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime + Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level **What We Offer** + $23.61 per hour + Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension + Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled **Req ID** JR10007328
