Yard Loader Operator

Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Responsible for the operation of front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers and to load trucks or railcars. + Verify amount of aggregate in storage bins and fill hoppers to ensure adequate quantity and quality of raw materials is maintained. + Perform routine maintenance on loaders, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning. + Participate in making sure the quality and quantity of raw materials meets established standards. + Work with plant manager, batch person, and other personnel to resolve problems, provide immediate feedback, and may recommend solutions to improve performance. **What Are We Looking For** + High school diploma or GED required + 2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operations and maintenance a plus. + Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment + Prior experience operation mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, ect.) and machinery a plus **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** + $20.00 to $21.00 per hour + 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions + Highly competitive benefits programs, including: + Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug Benefits + Health Saving Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) + AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life Insurance + Paid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid Holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled **Req ID** JR10003272
