Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Operate yard loader to move and load materials efficiently. + Maintain equipment to ensure safe and effective operations. + Communicate with team members to coordinate material handling. + Perform routine inspections and report maintenance needs. + Adhere to all safety protocols and site regulations. **What Are We Looking For** + Operate a gasoline or diesel powered loader for loading materials + Make and repair roads + Level stripping banks and stock piles + Perform lubrication, inspection, and preventative maintenance duties necessary to maintain the equipment in proper operating condition + Perform miscellaneous job duties as requested. **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** + $27.07/hr + Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision, and Pension. + Union paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
