Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Yard Manager to join one of North America's largest auctioneering companies. The Yard Manager will oversee the transition from a temporary wash bay facility to a permanent one. They will manage third-party staffing employees who provide customer services and collaborate with the internal sales team to enhance these services. The key responsibilities include: Managing equipment acquired from overseas, coordinating transportation, and overseeing the categorization and management of this equipment upon arrival before it goes to auction. Working outdoors in all weather conditions. Demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit, strong organizational skills, and teamwork abilities. Going the extra mile to ensure operational success. Skills and Requirements 5+ years experience in a people supervisor role Experience in the equipment rental or construction industry and/or related fields Capable of interacting effectively and supportively with employee, customers & towers Capable of performing and/or assisting with light maintenance of vehicles General mechanical knowledge of makes and models of vehicles required Strong safety protocols and ability to remain alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles operated in their work area.
