Job Description

We are looking for a Team Lead to join our team in Windsor, Ontario! You will play a crucial role in maintaining productivity while fostering a safe and organized work environment.

What you're responsible for: 

Organizing and coordinating daily yard activities to ensure efficiencyAssigning tasks to yard employees and monitoring workflow to meet daily operational goalsProviding hands on support and guidance to team membersEnsuring materials are sorted, processed and handled properlyMotivating and encouraging employees to maintain productivityCommunicating expectations and ensuring tasks are carried out accordinglyEnsuring compliance with company policies and identifying opportunities for improvement

Qualifications

To join our team:

You have previous experience in a recycling, industrial, construction or manufacturing environmentYou have strong leadership and problem solving skills, and the ability to make quick decisions You have hands-on experience with yard equipment, material handing, or heavy machinery (an asset)You have knowledge of health and safety regulations and the ability to enforce themYou are a hands-on leader who is looking for a new challengeYou are comfortable working in a physically demanding and fact-paced environmentYou are comfortable working outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions
