Our client, a respected transportation and fulfillment company, is seeking a skilled Yard Supervisor to join their team in Flanders, NJ. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of the yard or facility, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and coordinate the work of yard workers, scheduling workloads, and allocating resources effectively.Monitor inventory levels and conduct routine inspections, reporting any equipment maintenance needs to management.Oversee all yard operations, ensuring strict adherence to safety policies and maintaining a clean and organized yard.Prepare shipping documents, work orders, and manage inventory processes.Perform yard jockey duties as needed, providing coverage during staffing shortages.

Qualifications:

At least 1 year of verified Jockey Truck driving experience is required.CDL A (Preferred).Commercial driving experience: 1 year (Preferred).TWIC Card (a plus).Forklift and other warehouse experience (a plus).Strong organizational skills and excellent communication abilities.Bilingual (Preferred).Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in using scanners and computers.

Schedule and Pay:

Shift: Monday to Friday1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:30 PMPay Rate: $23.00 per hour
