What We Offer $22.66 per hour 12-hour rotating shifts, 2/2/3 schedule 1st shift, 7:30 AM – 7:00 PM 3rd shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekends and overtime as required Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Reward program Opportunity for advancement Referral bonuses What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED 1+ year(s) of tractor-trailer trucking experience Good standing CDL per state and federal requirements Satisfactory driving record Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact with varying levels of associates Demonstrated organizational and written and oral communication skills Flexibility to work rotating shifts and overtime as necessary Ability to stoop, bend, crouch Ability to stand/walk for the duration of the shift Ability to lift and move 50 pounds regularly, 30 pounds frequently, and up to 75 pounds occasionally What You’ll Do as a Yard Switcher Utilize powered industrial equipment (yard dog or day cab) to perform duties Load, secure, and unload cargo as needed Maintain contact with the site for pickup instructions or needed changes Assist team members with the loading of tires, as required by the customer Complete assigned tasks on time while being productive and motivated Participate in on-the-job training to learn new processes within a reasonable timeframe Maintain an acceptable attendance record per company policy Perform other tasks as assigned
