Yard Worker (Mobile - 6 Month Contract)
You are a Roaming Jobsite Support Staff worker responsible for the daily upkeep and maintenance of a material laydown yard. You will ensure that the yard remains a safe, clean, and organized space while also assisting with inventory management. This role requires daily travel to and from a remote job site.

Essential Responsibilities:

Verifies incoming materialsAdministers inventory control and order selectionOversees opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard as requiredGeneral site housekeepingSupports with the daily upkeep of the yard including organizing stock and yard maintenanceSupports receiving activitiesOperates forklift and lifts heavy items (up to 40 lbs.)Drives between sites to transport smaller materials as requiredBuilds and maintains relationships with field teamsMonitors yard activities ensuring that proper processes are followed

Qualifications:

1-2 years of Warehouse/Yard work experience, preferably in a high-volume environmentExperience in establishing relationships with various levels of an organizationProficiency with MS Outlook, emailAbility to work unsupervisedAbility to communicate effectively and independentlyForklift Operator Certification is requiredSuccessful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol requirements and a Security Clearance Process1-2 years of industry experience, preferably in an outdoor/yard environmentValid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is requiredStrong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, paired with a positive attitude

Work Conditions:

This role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and all weather environmentsTravel required up to 100% of the timeThe schedule is Monday – Friday – 8 hours per dayLodging for this role will be pre-booked in advance by the travel departmentCompany vehicle and phone will be provided

Compensation

$ 38,000 - $52,250 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
