Yardi Systems Administrator - (Hybrid)

Collaborates with internal departments to implement, document, test, and support application systems, as well as designs and maintains custom reports within Yardi software. Optimizes the use of the Property Management platform to support processes and enhance the overall user experience. Responsibilities: + Designs and customizes Yardi solutions based on organizational requirements. Collaborates with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software enhancements. Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports, tasks and scripts within the Yardi software platform, while collaborating with external developers to implement solutions and generate custom reports for end-users. Assist in delivering user training/support and maintaining new and existing applications within and related to Yardi. Stay updated on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. + Serves as a member of the administration team for a complex Yardi applications environment. Collaborates with the application support team to triage, route, and complete escalated service tickets for Yardi and other systems interfaces and platforms. + Document and maintain permissions, menus, and security for the Yardi application based on best practices, working directly with internal audit to ensure compliance. Stay apprised of audit requirements and responsibilities and participate in audit control reviews. + Manage or assist internal Yardi administrative improvement projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance or participate as a technical resource in projects, providing valuable input into system configuration, database management, data handling, and other options to deliver a best-in-class solution. Monitor deliverables and ensure the timely completion of projects. Participate in the weekly Change Control meetings, representing updates and changes to the Yardi platforms. Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. + Manage and maintain documentation of software customizations and other system configurations, including custom menus, reports, integrations, scheduled tasks, and report scheduler events. Requirements: + High school diploma or GED required + Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, and/or computer science preferred + Minimum five (5) years of technical experience as a Yardi administrator + Minimum five (5) years of experience in business systems applications, ideally in large real estate or regulated environments + Minimum three (3) years of experience in Yardi report writing + Advanced experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases and ability to query using SQL + Advanced experience writing SQL queries and scripts + Strong understanding of Real Estate and Property Management business processes + Possesses a solid understanding of customer service principles and the technical aspects required to support and explain complex concepts to non-technical users. + Demonstrates strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to break down and communicate complex information in a clear and user-friendly manner. + Excels in collaboration within cross-functional teams to implement and maintain solutions. + Excellent verbal and written communication, planning, analysis, and organizational skills + Excellent analytical thinking and problem solving/solutioning skills + Highly motivated and service-oriented, able to work effectively in a team environment, leveraging technical expertise and communication skills to deliver successful outcomes and maintain strong customer relationships. + Must be able to implement process improvement changes + Must be able to lead, guide, manage, and motivate a team Build your career with us: At AMH, we know what it takes to feel at home.
