About the Role

We are hiring a Yield Manager to join our Yield Management & Strategy team and support the ad sales organization in managing our credit and incentive programs. This individual will partner closely with our sales leaders and commercial excellence org to develop and GTM short & long term programs to help accelerate revenue growth from our partners. This role will also partner closely with the Sales Operations, Strategic Finance, Accounting and Billing team to ensure our incentives and credits are forecasted and allocated accurately across our internal systems. This individual will continue to iterate and streamline our existing processes to build a more sustainable incentive framework we can execute across partners. 

 

 

About the Team

The Yield Management and Strategy team sits within our Commercial Excellence organization. Its mission is to optimize Instacart ads revenue and long-term profitability through strategic pricing, inventory management, and data-driven insights.  We collaborate with Sales, Finance, Product, Insights, Media Analytics, Legal and Marketing teams to shape the product roadmap, develop innovative offerings, and provide objective guidance to do what’s best for our company and partners. We also facilitate seamless transactions via our ads deal desk, ensuring mutual success for our clients and sustained growth for our advertising business.

 

 

About the Job

Manage our ad credits programs across all ad sales teams, and track KPI’s to understand efficacy  Monthly pacing and reporting of credit revenue to our XFN stakeholders Develop budget proposals with sales leaders and get approval from finance Apply credits into our Ads Manager system Partner with Product, Billing, Accounting, Deal Desk to improve existing credit capability 

 

 

About You

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Marketing, Accounting, or related field 3 years of experience in finance, sales operations/support, or deal desk role Demonstrated cross-functional influence, and a track record of leveraging data for business impact.  High attention to detail, and strong bias to action Ability to deep dive into data, identify and quantify opportunities, and design creative and sustainable solutions.  Polished communication skills A self-starter with the ability to quickly respond to problems independently and operate in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

Working knowledge of Salesforce system Experience working with Finance/Accounts Receivable teams, invoices, order forms, and general contracts
