Salary: $26,992 / year
Sign on Bonus: $2000; $666 upon completion of 30 days, $666 upon completion of 6 months, $667 upon completion of 9 months
The Youth and Young Adult (YYA) Access Center (AC) clinician promotes the full integration and functioning of YYA skills needed to live successfully in the community. The Clinician assists the Program Director in ensuring the program meets high quality standards and provides value to YYAs served and the public mental health system. Assists the Program Director by providing clinical supervision to staff at the AC, monitoring engagement of all program's YYAs, working with the AC staff to select intervention strategies for those YYA who are challenging to engage to reduce barriers to and promote initial and sustained engagement in the AC.
Other responsibilities include:
Oversees clinical programming and service delivery by the team -- minimizing risk while maximizing opportunities for positive risk taking and learning. Provides clinical supervision to all staff. Provides support to TIP Facilitators in the areas of Strengths Discovery Assessment, TIP Core Competency Planning, and the TIP Solutions Review process, as well as other areas defined by the Program Director related to service provision, assessment, planning, and intervention. Participates in TSR meetings with AC staff as directed by Program Director. Acts as a skilled clinician proficient in the use of recovery-oriented, motivational interviewing, harm-reduction, trauma informed, culturally competent, and strengths based approaches to help YYA think through their current life circumstances compared with their hopes and plans for the future.Why Vinfen?
