Youth and College Advisor - Culture & Workforce Development
Location: METROHEALTH MEDICAL CENTER

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 8-5pm

Summary:

Develops, implements, and manages the MetroHealth System's (MHS) youth and college development programs. Plans and implements strategies to create experiential learning opportunities for students and employment pipelines into the MHA. Establishes and maintains strong relationships with educational institutions and workforce training partners to ensure effective, efficient, and quality programming. Increases external awareness of MHS through participation in community-based events Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer services standards of The MetroHealth System.

Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in education, learning and development, communications, human resources, or related field or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. Extensive experience in Project Management, including project planning and timelines, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. Experience collaborating with education institutions and community organizations.Minimum one year of experience in youth engagement, workforce development, instructional design, and vocational training. Demonstrated success developing and driving youth development strategies, influencing business stakeholders, and achieving significant and impactful results. Demonstrates confidence and subject matter expertise when presenting to diverse populations (i.e., internal stakeholders, community members, etc.). Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to interact with individuals at all levels. Ability to independently foster relationships with key stakeholders. Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.Preferred: 5 years of youth programming and community engagement experience. Knowledge of education and career pathways in healthcare. Physical Requirements: May sit, stand, stoop, bend, and ambulate intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. See in the normal visual range with or without correction. Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction. Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required. May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion. Ability to communicate in face-to-face, phone, email, and other communications.
