Provide an opportunity for high school students to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in preparation for a university education in a STEM field of study.

 

Program Description

The Oshkosh Apprenticeship Program is a one-year program focused on core technical engineering skills, led by industry professionals. The program format is flexible and will accommodate the scheduling challenges unique to high school students.

How It Works

1 Year ProgramHigh School Seniors for the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible

 

Students are exposed to multiple engineering disciplines including:

Drafting & DesignMechanical/Electrical/Software EngineeringMaterials Engineering

 

Program includes 450 hours of project work assigned by engineering professionals over the course of one year.

 

Upon program completion, each student is provided a Youth Apprenticeship certificate from the State of Wisconsin.
