Schedules:

Sunday - Wednesday 6:00 am - 5:00 pm  Sunday - Wednesday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm  Wednesday - Saturday 6:00 am - 5:00 pm  Wednesday - Saturday 11:00 am - 10:00 pm 

 To be considered, you should:

Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect. Have a desire to work with troubled teens. Be at least 21 years of age. Must have at least one of the following: Bachelor’s degree Valid Child Development Teaching Permit 12 Semester Units of Early Childhood Education, Adolescent Development, or Psychology Valid certificate as an Alcohol Counselor, Drug Counselor or Alcohol and Drug counselor One year of previous experience employed as a full-time staff at a group home, short-term residential therapeutic program, or substance abuse treatment program. Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test. Have relevant life experience in the child welfare, mental health or juvenile justice systems as a consumer, mentor, or caregiver, or life experience with children who have experienced high levels of trauma, or other relevant experience as determined by the department 

 What you will do:

As a Child Care Worker, you will provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program and provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.  You will monitor and document student behaviors and activities, participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities, and work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
