Youth Care Worker **Hillcrest Family Services** 1 Positions ID: 167360 Posted On 11/01/2024 **Job Overview** **Your Responsibilities** As a **Youth Care Worker,Â** you are responsible for providing compassionate and effective care and support to adolescents within the residential facilities. This role involves direct supervision, behavior management and crisis intervention. The Youth Care Worker collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, supportive environment for the adolescents. In addition, you will be: + Cultivates a meaningful relationship with each client in residence while maintaining appropriate boundaries. + Assists with therapeutic groups under the direction of the Adolescent Residential Treatment Counselor. + Participates in client care conferences. + Completes documentation that meets current standards and policies. + Ensures that sufficient time is structured into each day for the completion of homework or school assignments. + Accompanies the clients to medical and dental appointments, providing support and explaining procedures in understandable terms.
