Youth Development Administrator Coordinator- Atlanta United

Key Responsibilities:

Program Administration & Communication:Draft general correspondence and emails on behalf of the coaching staff and club, ensuring professionalism and accuracy in all communicationsManage program email accounts and provide timely customer serviceServe as the primary point of contact for Regional Development School (RDS) tryoutsCoordinate and manage program schedules and eventsLiaise with the marketing and social media teams to share department information and data insightsSchedule department meetings and communicate essential updates in a timely mannerRegistration & Compliance:Assist with the player registration process and ensure all required information (contact information, waivers, payments, etc.) is collected and accurateMaintain accurate player rosters and program recordsEnsure staff adherence to all staff training requirements, club policies, and safety protocolsAct as a liaison with venue partners and program managers to develop and maintain appropriate emergency action plans for each siteEquipment & Supplies:Ensure all program equipment (uniforms, soccer balls, cones, etc.) is ordered, organized, and distributed.Coordinate with coaches and staff members to ensure the staff is properly equipped for training and eventsOther Duties as Assigned:Support coaches with administrative tasks and assist with any other duties related to the functioning of the Youth Development department

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative roles (e.g., program assistant, team administrator, executive assistant, or customer service)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environmentStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with coaches, parents, and club leadershipExcellent organizational skills and the ability to implement tracking systems to ensure the smooth operation of the departmentStrong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a diverse group of peopleAbility to act with discretion when handling confidential informationA strong passion for youth sports and a commitment to fostering a positive and supportive environment for young athletes and their familiesMust be able to work evenings and weekends, as tryouts and practices often occur outside of regular business hoursPhysical requirements include the ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment up to 30+ poundsAbility to speak Spanish is a plusFamiliarity with sports administration systems or scheduling software is a plus
