Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher.
Roles and Responsibilities
Monitoring and Maintenance: Configure, manage, and maintain the Zabbix monitoring system. Ensure the smooth functioning of the Zabbix server and proxies. Monitor network and server performance using Zabbix.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide L2 support for Zabbix-related issues. Troubleshoot and resolve performance, availability, and reliability issues. Respond to alerts and take corrective actions.
Configuration and Optimization: Configure Zabbix templates, triggers, actions, and notifications. Optimize Zabbix performance and ensure efficient resource usage. Implement custom scripts and automation to enhance monitoring capabilities.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for Zabbix configurations and procedures. Generate regular reports on system performance and incidents. Create and update knowledge base articles for recurring issues.
Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integrated system operations. Train and mentor junior staff on Zabbix administration and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in managing Zabbix environments.
• Strong understanding of Zabbix architecture, components, and best practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation.
• Experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
• Familiarity with network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, SNMP).
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Zabbix Certified Specialist or Professional certification.
• Experience with other monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their monitoring solutions.
• Experience with database administration and optimization.
