With our incredible plans for the future of mobility, we have a wide variety of opportunities for you to accelerate your career and help us define tomorrow’s transportation. + Capturing Customs entry data for drawbacks in a Ford tailored customs and incentives system, which requires a high degree of accuracy. + Required to collect, review and / or validate shipping import and export shipping files and Customs entries for accuracy and compliance with customs regulations as part of internal post-entry reviews. + As Customs Analyst you will aid in ensuring that operations import and export production parts, aftermarket parts, machinery parts and vehicles in accordance with the Customs rules and regulations. + Working within the Tax team, you will play an integral part of supporting the customs manager in supporting supply chains, logistics, and transportation functions with customs-related issues and inquiries. + Interact with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other relevant parties to facilitate the import/export process. + Aid with customs registrations applications and updates. + Apply for import and export permits. + A working knowledge spreadsheets and word processing to support in regular reporting. + Work with the Customs manager to review, enhance and implement customs compliance operational changes. + Excellent Communication Skills – fluent in English - verbal and written. + General PC literacy specific experience using MS Office Excel and Word. + Key understanding of import and export requirements and customs procedures + Familiarity with common customs documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, transport documents, SAD500s) + Introductory level knowledge of HTS classification, country of origin, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) eligibility, valuation etc. + Experience with Bonded Customs warehouse compliance advantageous + Ability to interact with operational teams in understanding polices, processes and trade transactions independently. + 2-3 years of import and export customs, international trade, and logistics administrative operational experience in the Automotive industry + A Diploma or degree in International Trade, Logistics or Equivalent **Requisition ID** : 45583
