Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Zero Defect Capability Leader to join our global ME team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and implementing our Zero Defect approach to ensure the highest quality standards in all our processes and products. Your main responsibility will be to support our Nordic sites, Kongsberg and Trollhättan.

 

Job Responsibilities

-    Develop and implement strategies for our Zero Defect approach. 
-    Be part of our Zero Defect Community of Practice.
-    Ensure that quality goals are achieved by utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and other improvement tools. 
-    Lead and train teams in quality and improvement processes. 
-    Analyze quality data and identify areas for improvement. 
-    Collaborate with various departments to integrate quality standards across all production stages. 
-    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and enhance productivity. 
-    Evaluate and enhance supplier quality standards i.e. APQP/SQAR in close cooperation with the Supplier Quality organization.
-    Run specific ZD projects on decided focus products and/or manufacturing processes together with Operations and Design Engineering.
-    Support local site with New Product Introduction (NPI) projects with ZD approach
-    Develop and sustain/maintain the global NPI process
-    Support program with Life Cycle Gate process and it´s checklist regards to Industrial Reviews (IR)
-    Work cooperative within Engineering & Technology and Operations on a global level
 

Job Qualifications

-    Relevant university degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field. 
-    At least 5 years of experience in quality management and improvement work. 
-    Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher)
-    Strong analytical skills and experience with statistical analysis tools. 
-    Excellent communication and leadership skills. 
-    Ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish. 
-    Experience working in cross-functional teams.

Employment

Travel requirements
The position will be based in Sweden or Norway. Travel to other locations within Nordics, EU and US is expected
