EWOCS provides reliable high-quality communications and innovative IT solutions for the Guardians, Airmen, and Government agencies assigned to Patrick Space Force Base, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Vandenberg Air Force Base. Responsibilities Designs, implements, maintains and troubleshoots all aspects of all host-based and network-based firewalls across the enterprise.Designs, implements, maintains and troubleshoots all aspects of BYOD and remote access.Performs a substantive design role in network/systems engineering projects as needed.Performs other design/troubleshooting tasks as needed.Makes recommendations for purchase of hardware and software, coordinates and performs installation.Evaluates network performance issues (e.g. availability, utilization, throughput, latency, etc.)Participates in incident response as appropriate.Defines and implements certain enterprise policies and procedures. Required Experience/Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceMust meet DoD 8570 IAT II requirements2-5 years of experience in firewall administration
Experience with host based and network based firewalls
Experience with broad range of firewalls (Cisco, Palo Alto, etc)
