ZONE GENERAL MANAGER – SEA6 (Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar)
**Job Description Summary** Reporting to the CEO, GEHC AKA Region, the Zone Manager drives a coherent sales, service and business strategy across GE HealthCare in SEA6 ( Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar) and optimizes the use of resources to cover market potential. Responsible for defining a go-to-market strategy, leading all GE HealthCare account management activities to achieve the Operating plan via both direct and indirect channels and driving business growth by aligning sales, service, operations and any other functions. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world. **Job Description** **Key responsibilities/essential functions include (but not limited to):** **People Management:** + **Lead and coach** a team of talented people to achieve at the very maximum of their capability as well as **attract, retain and develop** world-class commercial talents. + **Deliver** the quarterly and yearly Operating Plan targets by connecting business priorities and business strategies. + **Provide** oversight and direction to a team of direct reports, supporting them in the successful delivery of their deliverables and overseeing project delivery, workload prioritization, performance, and professional development needs. + **Drive** the performance review process and the development of direct reports through performance management and development processes providing timely feedback through a context and framework that encourages employee contribution and encompasses goal setting, feedback, and development planning. + **Lead and manage** Solutions dedicated resources and operating mechanisms as needed to deliver success. **Financial Performance and business management** + Full P&L responsibility for SEA6 + Accountable to achieve the quarterly and yearly Operating Plan for SEA6 (orders, sales, cost and margin) together with customer satisfaction & retention. + Accountable for timely and accurate forecasting of pipeline and sales per the normal reporting cycles. + Provides input to and contributes to the formulation of the yearly business planning cycles. **Sales Management** + Define the go-to-market approach together with BU leaders and drive the execution of the changes locally with full responsibility. + In conjunction with Segment Business Units determine the market potential for the country and prioritize the portfolio opportunities. + Align territories to market potential and priorities and assign optimal account management and product specialist sales resources in conjunction with the Product regional management teams. + Responsible to set appropriate OP targets based on the market potential, for the Sales Managers and/or Account Managers in conjunction with the Product Leadership. + Accountable to develop & implement account management strategy for the country and ensure compliance and execution of the regional sales process and rules of engagement within their teams in conjunction with the Regional Product Leaders. + In conjunction with account management team, actively identify & drive boundaryless selling opportunities in the country. Promote Service offerings, identify and escalate commercial service needs. Manage within the organization matrix to optimize the coordination and use of Company, Product, Region and country resources. + Responsible for managing the long-term success of GE’s relationship with a set of Strategic accounts in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and GE. + Responsible to ensure that all Sales Managers and / or Account Managers have clear opportunity management activity and relationship building plans to ensure efficient coverage of decision makers and influencers through-out the total opportunity management cycle. + Responsible for driving operating mechanisms to monitor and track progress of opportunities in the pipeline as well as forecasting performance against OP with their teams. + Responsible to drive operating mechanisms to deliver on fulfillment targets and order backlog commitments. **Customer, Market and GEHC solutions awareness** + Know Key Opinion Leaders in care areas; manage professional relations with key customers, government & administrative bodies in order to deepen understanding of customer challenges and needs. + Understand and analyze market dynamics and competition to develop business opportunities for the Account Management teams in the country. Provide ongoing feedback to Management, Region and Marketing. + Maintain up to date market and competitor knowledge related to the full GEHC product and services solutions and ensure that teams strengthen their knowledge on how to differentiate GE offering. **One GEHC teamwork** + Facilitate effective communication & collaboration within the country and the region. Drive country operating mechanisms and ensure follow-up identified leads between all product lines. + Act as a primary customer point of contact in the country and represent SEA6 in case of multimodality projects and cross-P&L business events and ultimately accountable for issue resolution for assigned country. **Required Qualifications** : + A Master Degree with 15+ experience in Business Management or Sales / Marketing OR equivalent years of experience in progressive leadership positions + At least 5+ year experience of managing a P&L (above 50Mill USD) in the HealthCare industry. + Strong understanding of the Malaysia and Singapore HealthCare industry, culture and government institutions (min. 10 years business experience within SEA6) + At least 10+ years’ experience closing large, complex, strategic deals. + Demonstrated business management and resource allocation skills including business plan development. + Exemplary Servant Leadership skills: people management, leadership skills, as well as sales coaching & team building skills. + Strong business acumen; financial and organizational skills + Advanced negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills. + High level presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate and present ideas to customers in a way that produces understanding and impact that builds effective strategic relationships. + Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport, collaboration and influence at all levels within an organization. + Ability to operate effectively in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment, while maintaining a forward-thinking and customer-first attitude. + Direct and/or Indirect management experience; managing in a matrix organization. **Desired Qualifications:** + In-depth knowledge of healthcare market. + Knowledge of Healthcare disease solutions and the products and services offered GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
