ZSoftware Brand Sales Specialist - Early Professional
**Introduction** Mainframes or Z-platforms currently support about 70% of the world's major business transactions. Banks and financial institutions, government agencies, utilities and infrastructure companies and other markets that demand high processing power in a short space of time depend on the technology. The Z platform has been incredibly modernized over the past decades and today operates in an agile, modern and integrated way with cloud architectures. The market has demanded professionals who are experts in new technologies and who also know the Z platform to extract the best of each world and platform according to the required business purpose. IBM has invested heavily in preparing these new professionals and creating technologies that support them in the transformation and integration of the most advanced and modern platforms available, and this necessarily includes the Z platform. Our Early Professionals program is looking for an early career professional eager to enter the world of the Z platform, especially within the commercial area, whose objective will be to understand the challenges and opportunities for success that can be brought to our clients' business. and apply their knowledge in business transformation and growth, supported and guided to a large extent by a team of professionals with experience in the platform and the market. **Your role and responsibilities** As an Early Professional in Software Sales Professional in the Mainframe division (Zstack), the professional will have the opportunity to start his career in the Mainframe area, learning through courses, "on the job training" and real day to day experience in the Mainframe sales area. This professional will be accompanying and supporting a professional with experience in the area who will supervise him and will be his "coach" and mentor both in terms of knowledge of the technologies and the value proposition they bring to customers and throughout our sales cycle and "go to market". This position will enable the professional to understand the technologies, processes, people and areas that the "Business Unit" must interact with such as customers, suppliers or internal partners that contribute to the success of the Zstack BU and IBM Technology as a whole. Your responsibilities will gradually increase according to the evolution of your capabilities and skills, starting mainly as support to the experienced professional and eventually taking over stages of the sales process or even certain end-to-end processes as your responsibilities. Responsibilities may include: preparation of presentations containing business cases, use cases and applicability/impact of technologies. Preparation of congurations in conjunction with Business Technical Spacialists, customer presentations and discussions on the applicability of technologies, meetings to understand customer processes and challenges, preparation of commercial proposals in interaction with the pricing division, preparation of contracts in conjunction with deal makers and legal, monitoring the entire negotiation cycle, closing and acknowledging deals, generating opportunity analysis reports based on heatmaps and Sales Plays offers. **Required technical and professional expertise** Training in the area of technology, administration and management, general and high-level knowledge of the elements that make up the technological infrastructure of a large company, such as servers, processing, operating systems, databases, connectivity, business applications, clouds and mobility. Fluent English, facility to work with Microsoft tools, requiring extensive knowledge and practice in Power Point and Excel. Availability to travel to all South American countries and the United States of America. **Preferred technical and professional experience** Previous experience in a technology company is desirable, either in the area of infrastructure or software, operations or application development. We consider experience and knowledge in the commercial area or technical support to the commercial area (technical sales specialist) as a strong advantage. Experience with the Salesforce platform is also an advantage.
