JR49101 ENGINEER - PEE FAB SUPPORT/ PSMAs a Process & Equipment Engineering Fab Support Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working with a team of other process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management as well as resolving manufacturing line problems. For the compressed Shift Fab Support Engineer, you will need to lead a team of technicians to support line coverage on manufacturing line of Support Tools (Vacuum Pump, Point of use Scrubbers, Chillers/Heat exchanger) in the Subfab level 2. This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and carrying out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities, handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Sustaining and Maintaining Fab Support Tools (Vacuum Pump, Point of use Scrubbers, Chillers/Heat exchanger)
- Lead a team of technicians for compressed shift coverage for manufacturing line
• Establish and improve process condition and technology on Support Support and Main tool system setup (interlocks and safety setup)
• Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost. Control department spending for daily operation.
• Establish and modify process management projects, understand the control and safety systems (RMS, SCADA, monitoring dashboards)
• Evaluation, promotion and planning of new equipment / materials. New OEM equipment introduction and operation/maintenance.
• Abnormal analysis and improvement
