As an Organizational Change Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Micron’s Global Procurement efforts to adopt best in class processes and innovative technology solutions.  As a team member of the Global Procurement Center of Excellence (GPCOE) you will own integrating business process transformation programs and introducing disruptive technology tools and systems, by increasing employee adoption and usage such that business results are achieved. You will also own the GPCOE communication and its internal website. You will support the GPCOE strategic planning and execution.   In this role, you will focus on the people's side of change – including changes to business processes, job roles, systems and technologies and organization structures as they relate to the work of the Global Procurement Organization. 

Responsibilities and Tasks

 Apply a structured change management approach and methodology for the people side of change caused by projects and change efforts.

Develop a set of actionable and targeted change management plans for Global Procurement Processes, Technologies, and Systems (including communication plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan and resistance management plan)Work with sponsors and project teams to integrate change management activities and strategy into the project plan and support the execution of plans by employee- facing managers and business leaders.  Conduct change assessments, evaluate results and present findings in a logical and easy-to-understand manner.Create and manage metrics to track adoption, utilization, and proficiency of individual changes.

Coach program managers, sponsors, and teams on strategies to increase adoption, and create standards of what type of change management tools work best in various situations. Continuously develop own change management skills.Provide resources and training to others to increase change management effectiveness throughout team. 

Communicate, strategize, and execute to unleash change potential. 

Lead GPCOE internal communication function, manage internal website.Lead GPCOE team members engagement and satisfaction.Attend GPCOE staff meetings and support in staff tasks planning and execution.Manage GPCOE All-Town meetings and special events.

Education

Required

Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:  Business Administration/Management, Organizational Management/Behavior, Industrial Psychology, Procurement/Supply Chain, any related field with significant program/project management experience

Preferred

Master’s degree or PhD in the fields above

Additional Information:

Formal certification in a formal change management methodology (e.g. Prosci) preferred.

Experience

5+ years managing significant complex, cross functional enterprise level process and technology organizational change efforts in the high-tech industry.

Qualifications

You show a solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process, and know how to source, develop, and apply standard change management methods, tools, and frameworks.Possess exceptional communication skills and demonstrate the ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences both vertically and horizontally.You can influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.You have the demonstrated ability to lead, to take difficult stands under pressure, and to facilitate effective decision making in difficult situations.Flexible and adaptable are terms that describe you; you’re able to work in ambiguous situations and determine a path forward.Have the ability to recognize and convey a clear understanding of the interdependencies and impact across organizational boundaries.Have familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
