Job Description

As a Workforce Development intern, you will be assigned with projects which are responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the appropriate learning solutions and programs that enable companywide technical skill development.

Responsibilities and Tasks

- Follow Safety rules, live the Safety culture and promote Safety culture within the organization

- Follow ethic guidelines and promote ethics within the organization

- Learn and live the Micron Vision, Mission and values with passion and unwavering integrity - Perform learning needs analysis to analyze and close department competency gaps

- Creation and revision of course material should consider the target audiences learning objective, training methodology, training models, desired performance outcomes, potential delivery methods, resource constraints, and assessment methodology

- Utilize training metrics and course feedback as needed to evaluate the effectiveness of training courses, programs, and learning events

Implement programs and continual improvement projects to enhance competency and effectiveness of the training program

- Follow training guidelines in compliance with the established policies and standards

- Recommend the appropriate internal or external training resources, methods, and programs that enable the technical skill development of team members

- Deliver and facilitate effective training through classroom instruction or alternate training methods

- Collaborate with Workforce Development partners locally and globally to support the sharing of Best Known Methods and training initiatives

- Partner with external organizations to strengthen team members skillset to meet organization needs

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to obtain the knowledge necessary to deliver technical courses

- Collaborate with area training representatives to review and deploy training solution and associated training activities

- All team members are required to complete their learning items within the stipulated time frame

- For business process and/or QMS component that one is responsible or accountable for:

a) ensuring the QMS/business process that is effective and conforms to requirements

b) ensuring that the processes are delivering their intended outputs

c) reporting on QMS/business process performance and opportunities for improvement to management

d) ensuring the promotion of internal and external customer focus throughout the organization

e) ensuring the maintenance of the integrity of the QMS/ business process when changes are planned and implemented.

f) ensuring customer requirements are met

Education

Required

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

EngineeringRelated field of study

Qualifications

Able to effectively impart knowledge in a classroom settingKnowledgeable in a variety of training techniques, especially those relating to adult learning theoryStrong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with a variety of people to promote teamwork within a diverse groupExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAble to manage projects successfully, follow through on commitments, display integrity, take the initiative to address problems, and provide outstanding customer serviceSolid analytical skills and demonstrated ability to solve problems quickly and creativelyProficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Strong computer skills and the aptitude to learn new applications and software programs
