Intern - Test Engineering
As a Test Engineering Intern, you will report to the Test Engineering Manager where you will be part of a larger team within Test Engineering Department and assists in performing engineering assignments to resolve various challenges faced. Your primary role will be assessing, benchmarking, developing, and implementing transformational innovations aimed at improving overall efficiency and effectiveness within the department. Additionally, you’ll also be expected to work on continuous improvement projects bringing the new digital technologies and Gen AI tools together that could help Micron differentiate and create values.
Job Description:
1) Learn on Overall Test Strategy, Test Operations and Processes for semiconductor memory manufacturing
2) Familiarization with systems and application used in test manufacturing environment
3) Learn on Test Statistical Bin Limit (SBL) methodology and lot disposition system for low yield analysis.
4) Learn on Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) for semiconductor memory devices.
5) Learn on Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) tools to develop innovative solutions on engineering challenges in manufacturing operations.
Project Assignment:
Work on a project on developing an effective method or solution to improve the Engineering Operation efficiency and resolve various engineering challenges through Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence approach.
Deliverables:
1. Able to understand Test Manufacturing requirement and operations.
2. Able to understand basic semiconductor memory devices functionality and operations.
3. Able to understand Test manufacturing systems, application, hardware and processes.
4. Able to perform basic failure analysis and basic disposition according to the cookbook.
5. Complete the project assignment within the timeline and meet the project objectives and deliverables.
Skillsets Required:
Proficiency in data analytics, statistical modeling, data visualization, Generative AI, and programming skills will be a valuable addition.
