Job Description:

Are you mechanically inclined or tech-savvy and looking to build a career in electronics manufacturing? We’re seeking motivated individuals with basic mechanical or machine aptitude who are eager to learn and grow with hands-on training—no prior SMT or electronics experience required!

The Technician II – Manufacturing (SMT Operator) plays a key role in operating and supporting machinery used in the assembly of electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). You'll work with a team to ensure products meet quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate automated manufacturing equipment such as solder paste printers, reflow ovens, inspection tools, and other machinery used in the SMT process.

Set up machines, load basic programs, and perform routine maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Monitor production flow and perform basic inspections to ensure quality standards are met.

Assist in identifying and resolving simple equipment or process issues with guidance from senior technicians or engineers.

Follow written instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures to support accurate component placement and assembly.

Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe.

Work closely with team members to improve efficiency and processes over time.

Follow all company safety and quality policies.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Experience / Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Technical training, mechanical coursework, or related experience is a plus, but not required.

No prior experience in electronics manufacturing needed—training provided for candidates with the right aptitude.

Requirements / Qualifications:

Basic mechanical or machine operation aptitude (e.g., comfortable working with tools or machines).

Willingness to learn technical processes and follow detailed instructions.

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Basic computer skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime to meet production demands.

Schedule:

3:30pm-12am -> once on this shift, you will receive a 10% shift differential!

Please note: the ability to work on 1st shift for training may be necessary (7am-3:30pm)
